Who am I to Teach Growth?
My name is Tami Gaines and, although my life has been largely defined by tremendous achievement, the road to those successes has often been lined with giant potholes – seemingly insurmountable obstacles. I have found hidden gifts of growth in every challenge and embrace each setback as a choice to be bigger than my problems.
What Can I Do To Help You?
Quite simply, if you are a person that would like to grow through your challenges– regardless of what they might be — here, you can find experience-based, heart-centered, guidance to help you find the light in even your darkest times. You’ll learn The Rebirth of Soul™ process — my proven system for growing through any challenge. You’ll also get dozens of secrets to surviving many specific challenges like divorce, premature birth, unhealthy relationships, financial issues, and single parenting to name a few.
The challenges I’ve faced are varied and many. For the sake of time, I’ll give you the condensed version of some of the biggest ones I’ve dealt with:
- I was hit by a car as a pedestrian. The resulting injuries forced me out of full-time work for nearly six months. Because of my injuries, I was unable to walk and had to move in with my parents. It took two surgeries and 18-months to rehabilitate.
- I experienced unbelievable workplace racial and sexual discrimination as a senior executive in a publicly-held, multi-national company. After successfully suing that company, I quit corporate America and became an entrepreneur. My company grew to nearly half-million in sales and I watched it all crumble after the events of September 11th, leaving me financially and emotionally devastated and having to rebuild again.
- Within five months, I found myself unexpectedly but happily pregnant with twins; my husband of nearly 12 years left me over my decision to keep the twins; I was place on hospitalized bed rest for nearly six weeks; had the twins extremely prematurely and had an 36-month journey in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, Pediatric Intensive Care Unit, a rehabilitation facility and then frequent visits to the Intensive Care Unit. Today, I’m a single mom of four children, the youngest with special needs. By the way, during the same period of time, I lost both of my grandmothers, my last remaining grandparents.
In these cases (and so many others), the emotional roller coaster, the relentless battering my heart and soul took and the feelings of isolation were the most difficult to overcome. Despite the magnitude of what I was dealing with, I didn’t want to end up in a lifetime of therapy or to sit in a group with people who’d gone through the same thing so we could wallow in our sorrows together.
I simply wanted to find peace with my situation, grow from it and move forward. I searched both online and off and couldn’t find the type of support I wanted. I launched this website and developed The Rebirth of Soul to help others find the one moment in their greatest challenge, when they discover that they are not as weak as they once believed – the moment when they find their inner strength. The one moment that makes everything that follows…possible.
